ABOUT INTERACT
Every year, Mitratech holds a peer-driven legal technology forum for legal, compliance,
and risk employees of corporations and government agencies. The forum provides practical
strategies that have been tested in the marketplace and offers an opportunity for peer
discussions and engagement.

Over 400 attendees, an increase of 80% from Interact 2016, will participate in this year’s

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR EXHIBITING AND SPONSORING
Character of Exhibit/Sponsorship:
MITRATECH reserves the right to judge the appropriateness of any exhibit or sponsorship and to decline
to permit any entity to conduct or maintain an exhibit
or sponsorship if, in the judgment of the management,
said entity’s proposed exhibit or sponsorship shall in
any respect be deemed unsuitable. This reservation
relates to persons, conduct, articles or merchandise,
printed matter, souvenirs, catalogs, displayed signs
and banners, without limitation, which might negatively
affect the character of the exposition.
In the event that MITRATECH shall determine that the
conduct of any agents, or servants, is not in keeping
with the character of MITRATECH’s sponsorship policy,
the management may, at any time, without notice,
terminate the contract for space entered into with said
exhibitor or sponsor and, with or without process of
law, remove the exhibitor or sponsor, its employees,
agents, servants and all of the property of the exhibitor or sponsor from the space contracted for and from
the exposition or conference. No exhibitor or sponsor
shall have any right or claim against MITRATECH on
account of any action so taken. The determination of
the management as to the suitability of any exhibitor
or sponsor, proposed exhibit or sponsorship, or the
conduct of any person within the exposition or conference shall, in each instance, be final.
Further, the exhibitor or sponsor agrees that it will not
demonstrate products at this exposition or conference that MITRATECH reasonably determines to be
inappropriate for the event. If the exhibitor or sponsor
demonstrates inappropriate products the exhibitor
or sponsor, its employees, agents, and servants may
be removed from, or refused admittance to the event.
If admittance is refused or if exhibitor or sponsor is
removed, exhibitor or sponsor will remain liable for
the cancellation penalty.
Limitation of Liability — Insurance:
Exhibitor/Sponsor agrees to protect, save, and keep
MITRATECH and The Westin Kierland Scottsdale forever
harmless from any damage or charges imposed for
violation of any law or ordinance, whether occasioned
by the negligence of the exhibitor/sponsor or those
holding under the exhibitor/sponsor, as well as to strictly
comply with the applicable terms and conditions
contained in the agreement between the facility and
MITRATECH regarding the exhibit/event premises.
Further, the exhibitor/sponsor at all times shall protect,
indemnify, save, and keep harmless MITRATECH and
The Westin Kierland Scottsdale against and from any
and all loss, cost, damage, liability or expense arising
from or out of or by reason of any accident or other
occurrence to anything or anyone, including the exhibitor/sponsor, its agents, employees, event attendees
and business invitees which arises from or out of or
by reason of said exhibitor’s/sponsor’s occupancy
and use of the exhibition/event premises or a part
thereof. In addition, exhibitor/sponsor acknowledges
that MITRATECH, The Westin Kierland Scottsdale nor
any of the exhibit/event facilities maintain insurance
covering exhibitor’s/sponsor’s property, and that it is
the sole responsibility of exhibitor/sponsor to obtain
business interruption and property damage insurance
covering such losses by exhibitor/sponsor.
Participating Company shall obtain and keep in force
during the term of the installation and use of the
exhibit premises, policies of Comprehensive General
Liability Insurance and Contractual Liability Insurance,
insuring and specifically referring to the Contractual
liability set forth in this Exhibit Agreement, in an amount
not less than $2,000,000 Combined Single Limit for
personal injury and property damage.
Termination of Exhibit/Sponsorship:
If the premises where the exhibition/event is to be
housed are destroyed or damaged, or the exposition/
event fails to take place as scheduled or is relocated
or interrupted and discontinued or access to the
premises is prevented or interfered with by reason of
any strike, lockout, injunction, act of war, act of God,
emergency declared by any government agency or for
any other reason, this contract may be terminated
by MITRATECH. In the event of such termination, the
exhibitor/sponsor waives any and all damages and
claims for damages and agrees that the sole liability
of MITRATECH shall be to return to each exhibitor/
sponsor the exhibitor’s/sponsor’s fee.
Contract for Space and Cancellation Penalties:
This contract is binding upon signature. Exhibit/event
space reservations will not be considered confirmed
until the total amount due has been paid. Exhibitor’s/
sponsor’s wishing to cancel or withdraw from the show
must do so in writing, by registered mail, or overnight
delivery service. Cancellations made on or before May
1, 2017 will not incur a cancellation fee.
Cancellations made after May 1, 2017 until July 31,
2017 will incur a penalty equal to 50% of the full
payment made or due. Exhibitors/sponsors canceling
after July 31, 2017 will be liable for the entire amount
paid or due. MITRATECH reserves the right to assign
final booth locations.
Restrictions:
Exhibitors/Sponsors must confine activities to their
demonstration area. Distribution of literature and/or
conducting surveys in the aisles of the show is not
permitted. Promotional activities and giveaways are
permitted only in your designated area. All exhibitors/
sponsors must be properly attired and conduct themselves in a professional manner. The use of microphones
and strobe or flashing lights is prohibited.

Sponsoring INTERACT 2017 and the MITRATECH Sponsorship Policy. MITRATECH
reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions with respect to changes in
the Rules and Regulations enforced by the venue. All sponsors and exhibitors will be
notified in writing by registered mail of changes in Terms and Conditions. By signing
this application, I understand that I and all employees and agents of my company
participating in INTERACT 2017 will adhere to the rules and regulations set forth.
