JOB DESCRIPTION

Purpose:
To provide effective leadership for the development and implementation of
people management and business process that add value to the business,
contribute to organisational improvements and support the strategic direction of
the company.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, monitor and manage the Company HR Strategy, including all human resource
policies, procedures and practices for the Company in conjunction with the Managing Director, across
all Company sites.

Ensure that effective and appropriate HR policies and procedures are in place which meet legal
requirements, best practice and organisational requirements.

Using Company systems and procedures, maintain accurate employee records.

Provide expert and professional advice to managers and employees on a wide range of HR matters,
people management and staff development issues, in line with best practice and legislative
requirements.

Monitor and evaluate the Company staff performance management system in line with Company aims
and objectives, linking to the HR Strategy and clearly identifying training for all staff.

Development of the Company training plan, with responsibility for management of the training budget,
ensuring value for money. In particular, ensure that all Health and Safety related training is undertaken
when required. Responsible for the evaluation of training and ensuring accurate training records are
maintained.

Manage all recruitment activities, including advertising strategy, selection and appointment, in budget
and in accordance with legislation and best practice.

Monitor the reward and payroll system with administrative assistance provided.

Ensure the effective communication of management information both informally, through regular
meetings with the Management Team, and formally, through the provision of monthly reports as
required by the Directors

As a member of the Management Team, play an active role in implementing the short, medium and
long term strategy for the company.

Undertake any other duties within reason capability as determined by the Managing Director.
