All candidates must hold an Honours degree (Bachelor) at 2:2 or above (completed
within the past 5 years). A degree in a science/health related subject will be
advantageous.
Candidates must have a GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
Applicants who are not from the UK are required to have an English Language
Qualification IELTS level score of 7 or above.

All successful candidates must complete a Recognition of Prior Learning Portfolio +
770 hours practice experience- links for practice experience as paid graduate HCA’s
with local employers if not currently working in health or social care
•
This course is fee paying and candidates will need to self fund or get a career loan to
proceed onto it, unless you are seconded by an employer.
