Getting Ready
 You have to make a video
 You need a transcription of the spoken content of
the video
 There’s no way to add video descriptions, therefore
the Narrator should describe important actions
thus incorporating it into the video
 DO NOT include quiet pauses in the audio
Uploading a Video to YouTube
 Create an account
 Sign In
Select the Video
 Click on the upload Button
 Search for it on your hard drive
 Click on the “Upload Now” button
 Autoshare options (Facebook, Twitter, Reader, etc.)

 Upload transcript by selecting file from your hard drive
 Make sure you choose transcript file (English only)
 It must be a .txt file

 Go to the videos tag, subtitles and download
 It will be named caption.sbv

notepad
 Copy it into
Microsoft word to
format it if needed

 Upload the transcript as an .txt file (English only)
