REAL STL – MARCH MADNESS FUNDRAISER RULES:
March Madness begins on Tuesday, March 19 and ends on Monday, April 8.
In order to join, you must:
1. Register as a user at http://www.poolhost.com.
When registering, click on ‘Register’ on the left-side menu. You will choose a personal username and provide your email address. When you click Join, PoolHost.com will send you an e-mail with a password to login to the site.
NOTE: You MUST be a registered user of PoolHost.com in order to join our private pool.
2. Login to PoolHost.com with the username you chose and the password sent to you.
3. Go to the 'User Tools' menu and choose 'Join a Private Pool'.
4. Choose “March Madness Bracket Challenge”.
5. To join the pool you need to enter the Pool ID and Pool Password.
For the Pool ID type: REALSTL
For the Pool Password type: SOCCER
6. If selecting multiple pick sheets,
a. click on ‘Pool Options’ from the blue left menu bar,
b. click ‘Add Pick Sheet,’
c.
enter an Alias name.
That's it and then you're in! The next time you login in to http://www.poolhost.com, you can get back to your pool by going to
'My Pools' where you'll see all the pools you've joined. Clicking on a pool name will take you to that pool.
Championship Game Tie-Break
Besides making your picks, at the bottom of the Final Four Region pick page, you must guess the Championship game total
score to decide any tie-breaks.
1. All picks must be made by 12:15pm on March 21, 2013.
2. One point is awarded for each win.
3. The player with the most points wins the jackpot. In the case of a tie, the Championship Game Tie-Breaker will be used.
If multiple players are left after that, the pot is split equally among the tied players.
4. You may not make deals with other players to cover all games to share in the money. If we hear of any deals…the
winnings will stay with the club.
5. Entry fee is $10 per player for each pick sheet. You can have up to 3 pick sheets, or in other words, if you want to control
3 picks, you pay $30. All entries must be post-marked by March 20.
6. The breakdown of the entry fee is: $5 to the soccer player on the entry sheet and the other $5 goes to the pot. The value
of the pot depends on the number of participants.
7. In order for a player to get credit for entries sold their first and last name and team needs to be listed on the entry sheet.
NO EXCEPTIONS! If there is no player information, the $5 will go to the club.
