PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY. If you have any questions, have them answered
before signing this document.
In consideration of being permitted to participate in the 2016 No-Mo Charity Kayak

in full recognition and
appreciation of the dangers and risks inherent in such activities, do hereby waive, release, and
forever discharge Riverside Kayak Connection, Kayak Fish the Great Lakes, tournament
organizers, sponsors, its officers, agents and employees, as well as other participants from and
against any and all claims, demands, action or causes of action for costs, expenses or damages to
personal property or personal injury, or death, which may result from my participation in these
activities.
I understand and admit that my participation in the 2016 No-Mo Charity Kayak Fishing
Tournament is voluntary. I assume full responsibility for any injuries or damages resulting from
my participation in this program including responsibility for using reasonable judgment in all
phases of participation in the activity.
I recognize and understand that the activities may be hazardous, that my participation is
solely at my own risk, and that I assume full responsibility for any resulting injuries and
damages.
I affirm that I am in good health. I further declare that I am physically fit and capable to
participate in such activities. I also understand that this Waiver of Liability and Release binds my
heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns as well as myself.
I acknowledge that I have read and understand this entire Waiver of Liability and Release,
and I agree to be legally bound by it.

Rules and Information
Mandatory Captains Meeting

Have fun and help others to have fun.

All participants MUST wear a PFD at all times while fishing/paddling.
-
All paddle-craft are welcome (no motors, electric or gasoline).

Fishing starts at “safe light” Sunday May 15th (determined at Captains Meeting)
-
Any/all Michigan waters may be fished. Bodies of water must be publically accessible (no
private lakes or otherwise inaccessible by public).

Artificial baits/lures only. No live bait may be used.
-
Catch-Photo-Release format, therefore all fish should be handled carefully and released.

An identifier will be handed out at the Captains Meeting and MUST be visible in all photos.

The angler’s kayak, canoe, etc. must be visible in all photos.
*
Stringers, open mouths, and pinched tails are allowed, but complete length must we
clearly visible.
*
Submitted photos must be able to be uploaded to the tournament management system via
smart phone or judge’s computer at weigh-in.

An angler can “weigh” one fish from each category (see categories below). For example, a
15” smallmouth + 22” pike + 12” perch = 49 total inches.

An angler cannot win multiple divisions (Slam Division, Bass Division, Biggest Fish).

Prizes are generously donated by sponsors and therefore cannot be sold publically.

All State of Michigan fishing regulations and laws must be followed by participants.

Participant must be at weigh-in and in line by 4 pm Sunday at the latest.

Only Hawg Trough rulers may be used (available to borrow at Captains Meeting).

All ties will be broken by the date of registration; the tie-breaker goes to the earlier date.

angler's 3 fish is the score. The
highest score wins.
An angler can submit 3 bass (any
bass species). The sum of the

Didn't catch a slam or 3 bass?
Anglers can still submit a single
fish. The biggest (longest
length) fish wins.
