“Kuxtal” Sensory Garden
Named after the Mayan “Kuxtal,” meaning “The Life,” the Sensory Garden was designed to lead our guests into higher
state of Consciousness by following the Mayan philosophy of becoming aware of the present time and recognize the
seamless connection with the natural world.
The garden illustrates the principles of the Mayan Way of Life, paying homage to its traditions by being perfectly aligned
to the Cardinal Directions and Elements of Nature, it becomes a sanctuary of balance were the innermost signs of Mayan
Wisdom are revealed creating a state of profound inner peace to truly appreciate our link with the cycle of life.
The Sensory Garden opens through the senses, revealing a story about culture, nature & personal inner landscape, it is a
serene journey filled with Mayan healing remedies, aromas, colors, textures, tastes and sounds—each invigorating and

CENOTE TEMAZCAL PURIFICATION

This traditional Mayan healing practice reignites a bond with nature and guides you through a journey into the "womb"
of the earth. It all begins in the meditation garden where healing plants are selected for the ritual. Next, inside an
indigenous stone structure, a steam bath is produced by a fusion of herbal infused water and volcanic rocks, the
detoxifying process is enriched with the application of an indigenous scrub to the skin. The journey continues with
a traditional water rinse to balance the body's temperature and culminates with a restoring massage provided with
warm herbal poultices.
“THE KUXTAL”SENSORY GARDEN RITUAL

Named after the Mayan word for life “Kuxtal”, this unique experience pays homage to the ancient beliefs of the Mayan
Shamans who recognized their direct connection with all living forms. The journey begins with a sensorial awakening
ritual where a fusion of aromas, sounds & taste blend with the beauty of nature to awake each one of the five senses.
Inside the garden guests are encouraged to embrace the cycle of life and discover their spontaneous connection with
one of the plants to use its healing significance to design a customized Wellness journey centered on the four levels of
wellness: physical, emotional, spiritual or mindfulness. Reliant on the guest intuitive choice, the journey may be focused
on physical healing work, meditation experiences or energetic balance sessions.
ESCAPE TOGETHER: ECLIPSE SUN & MOON JOURNEY

Escape to the ends of the earth and feel touched by the magic of the sun, moon, and stars with this romantic interlude
for two. The journey begins in your suite, with a private boat ride to the Spa. Upon arrival, the couple is guided through
the Sensory Garden to select and combine essential oils into one—a symbol of leaving behind the individual and joining
as a couple. The resulting blend is then mixed with natural elements, including cacao, crushed rose petals & Neroli to
form a healing scrub & wrap. The treatment concludes with a romantic, restorative couples massage.
MAYAN HEALING HANDS

This once-in-a-lifetime journey begins with a private session with a shaman to determine the intention of the visit. Then
the guest engages in a “Sunset Ceremony,” featuring an energy-healing ritual with the ability to transform patterns and
paradigms. The experience continues with a private visit to a cenote, a secret Mayan well that contains a natural blend
of detoxifying and restorative properties. With the Shaman as the guide, the guest is “reborn” by bathing in the cenote.
To complete this energizing experience, guests are taken into a 60-minute Temazcal journey that features a purifying
bath with aromas that awaken ancestral memory and unite the recipient with Mother Nature. To conclude the
treatment, the guest is indulged with a 90-minute Mayakoba Massage.

MAYAKOBA HERBAL CURE

This nourishing herbal experience starts with a full-body exfoliation by way of a rose-petal-and-cranberry scrub,
followed by a signature herbal blend of lemongrass and lavender. Next, a wrap is applied to instantly brighten and tone
the skin and deliver a powerful dose of moisture. A revitalizing body oil massage completes the experience.
