In this module, you will explore the history, theory and practice, of Irish
traditional dance. You will also engage in the examination of individual
dance genres; analyses of characteristic dance forms; the
contextualisation of specific performance practices with special reference
to patronage and aesthetic interest. Students will also be expected to
participate in relevant dance workshops.
