This job aid explains how to set up customized job alerts to learn more about future Amtrak job
opportunities.Perform this activity when you want to receive job posting information related to your career
objectives.

Access the Amtrak Careers site using the link:
http://jobs.amtrak.com
The Amtrak Careers screen opens.
2.
Click Sign Up Now, located in the Email Jobs
to Me box on the center of the screen.
The Profile Information screen opens.
Complete the required information denoted by
an asterisk (*).
3.
NOTE: If you do not want to create a job agent,
go to step 6 of this job aid.

To receive emails about job opportunities at
Amtrak, complete the fields in the Add/Edit Job
Agent box.
4.
NOTE: This step is optional, you do not have to
create a job agent now. You can return at a later
date and add job agents.
Click Add.
5.
Your preferences appear as a Job Agent under
My Job Agents.
Click Next.
6.
A confirmation screen displays.
Click Done.
7.
The Amtrak Careers screen opens.
You have successfully joined the Amtrak Talent Community and/or set up customized
job alerts.
