The team provides sales, marketing planning and campaign assistance to help attract and recruit students. Marketing and recruitment activities planned and implemented by BMR are designed to help achieve the University’s strategic goals of brand and reputation building and attracting domestic and international students to study at The University of Western Australia (UWA). Digital and Creative Services within BMR division provides creative services across the University. This team develops creative outputs aligned to and focused on building the UWA brand through the delivery of high-quality communication and marketing material across a variety of engagement and media channels. Reporting structure Reports to: Senior Production Officer Your role The Production Officer will, under limited direction, provide end-to-end project management for digital and print creative projects and tasks. This officer will work with UWA staff to ensure their project requirements are well-planned and implemented, while ensuring DCS production staff are supported to deliver high-quality customer focused solutions. The role will be responsible for ensuring the University follows a user-centred approach, while complying with UWA brand guidelines and industry best practice. Key responsibilities Lead the delivery of customer-focused solutions by gathering and analysing information on user behaviour and understanding the competitor landscape Manage the planning, scoping, production and delivery of high-quality digital and print publications Create an engaging, customer-focused content experience across printed and digital platforms Identify and implement methods to increase user-engagement Maintain high levels of client satisfaction by providing clear communication, managing expectations and delivering project milestones based on mutually agreed goals. Develop, document and manage project plans, scope, production briefs and delivery goals Promote a high-performance team culture and seek opportunities to improve workflow processes Foster a collaborative team environment that is supportive, consultative and informative Other duties as required Your specific work capabilities (selection criteria) Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency Demonstrated experience in managing large, complex, high-quality and on-brand print and digital projects from start to finish Demonstrated experience acquiring customer feedback to identify, scope and create the best possible customer experience Experience advocating for the user and promoting content strategy best practices, principles, and methodology Extensive experience in client liaison, client relationship management, negotiation and expectation management Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and with influence to clients and the team in written and verbal communications Experience promoting and contributing to a high-performing team culture Ability to work across a range of content management systems and adapt to new technologies as required Special requirements (selection criteria) Provision of support for University needs may require availability out of ordinary working hours Workplace Health and Safety All supervising staff are required to undertake effective measures to ensure compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1984 and related University requirements (including Safety, Health and Wellbeing Objectives and Targets).
