Terms and Conditions
1.
All lucky draw prize winners will be bound by
the terms and conditions herein stated and by all
amendments, additions, replacements and
modifications made by STC hereto or hereof from
time to time.
2. The lucky draw is for all race meetings undertaken
by STC during the promotional period from
02 September 2011 to 29 February 2012.
3. All tickets which meet the minimum bet value ($50)
at point of purchase will be eligible for the draw.

Each customer is only permitted to win a
maximum of one (1) prize for the entire promotion.
This means that, if a person has been drawn
as a prize winner subsequent draws for this
person will be considered invalid. An alternate
draw will be conducted to generate another prize
winner from the lucky draw system. Winners will be notified by phone and will be
required to be present at the prize presentation
ceremony at the venue and date to be specified in
the letter.
6. Prizes must be claimed in-person with proof of
identification at the time of prize collection (e.g.
NRIC, passport, or driver’s license). 9. The grand prize is a Mercedes-Benz C 180
KOMPRESSOR BlueEFFICIENCY car, and is
inclusive of 7% GST. 10. It does not include Certificate of Entitlement (COE), motor vehicle insurance, road tax,
registration number plates, In-Vehicle-Unit (IU)
and registration fees. 11. STC shall determine the colour and any fittings,
fixtures and accessories of the grand prize. STC is
not an agent of any merchant. Any dispute about
the quality, merchantability and fitness for
purpose of the merchant’s goods and services
must be resolved directly with the merchant.
12. STC will not be responsible for any injuries, loss,
claim or damage suffered or incurred in connection
with the prizes.
13. STC’s decision on all matters relating to the lucky
draw shall be final. 14. STC shall not be liable in any way to the prize
winner or any other person as a result of such
rejection or decision made by STC. In addition,
no correspondence with the prize winner will
be entertained.
7. Prizes are strictly non-transferable and cannot be
exchanged for cash, credit or any other item. 15. No third party shall have any right to enforce any of
the terms and conditions herein under the
Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap 53b).

16. January – February 2012: Additional draws would
be conducted every 2 weeks with 8 sets of $888 cash
(in the form of betting credits in a Telebet account)
to be given away at each draw.
STC reserves the right to use the winners’
names and/or photographs for purposes of
publicity, advertising and/or trade without further
compensation or notice.

Eligibility

Who are entitled to participate in the draws?
All customers at the Racecourse, all offcourse premises (including Livewires & SPPL
branches) and Telebet account customers are
entitled to participate in the draws.
b. How to qualify for the draws?
Simply invest $50 or more on any meetings or
races in a single betting ticket or betline during
the promotional period starting 2 September 2011
to 29 February 2012.

How do I participate in the monthly draws?
For cash customers and Self-Betting Kiosk users:
Proceed to any registration booth to do a onetime registration of personal particulars with
your Identification Card (I/C) and present
your betting ticket to register your first
winning chance. For subsequent entries, simply
present your I/C and betting tickets to register
your winning chances. For Telebet account customers:

account customers. Winning chances would be
allocated automatically.
For customers who bet at Singapore Pools (SPPL) Branches / Livewires:
Proceed to the Racecourse or any of the 17 offcourse betting centres / outlets to do a one-time
registration of personal particulars at any
registration booth. Present your betting ticket to
register your first winning chance. For subsequent
entries, simply present your Identification
Card (I/C) and betting tickets at any of the
above mentioned premises to register your
winning chances.

d. How do I participate in the Grand Draw? All valid entries for the monthly draws are eligible
for the final Grand Draw.
e. When can I register my winning chances?
You may register your winning chances at any
registration booths during the Club’s opening
hours on race days. Each qualifying ticket can only
be registered once. f. When are the deadlines to register for the
monthly draws?
Only betting tickets transacted within the calendar
month would be eligible for that month’s draw. If
you miss the deadline for the monthly draw, you
may still register the betting ticket to qualify for
the Grand Draw. g. Do I need to keep the betting tickets after
registering my winning chances? No. All winning chances would be stored in the
lucky draw system which is audited in accordance
with the regulatory approval issued.
Winning Chances
h. How do I increase my winning chances? For every eligible betting ticket transacted via the
Cash Betting Terminals (CBT), you would be
entitled to 1 winning chance. Double your winning
chances by betting via Self-Betting Kiosks (SBK)
or Telebet services. Triple your winning chances

Prizes
i. How many winners are there?
There would be 6 monthly draws conducted over
the promotional period. 2 winners will be drawn
for each monthly draw. Following the 6-month
promotional period, 1 lucky winner will win the
Grand Prize. j. What are the monthly prizes?
Winners of the monthly draw would receive $5,000
worth of travel vouchers each.
k. What is the Grand Prize?
Winner of the Grand Draw will walk away with a
Mercedes-Benz C-Class! Refer to terms and
conditions of the contest.
l. How do I win the additional $60,000 worth of
cash prizes?
Drawn prize winner(s) of the monthly draws
who bet through Self Betting Kiosks (SBK) stand
to win additional cash prizes of $5,000 each.
Unissued cash prizes for the month will be
carried over to the following month. Should
there be no winners who bet through SBK over the
entire promotional period, a separate draw would
be conducted for all SBK customers. Winner of
the draw will win the jackpot prize of $60,000 cash.
Results of Draw
m. When are the monthly draws conducted?
The monthly draws would be conducted on the
first Friday of the following month, i.e. September
monthly draw will be conducted on 7 October
2011 (Friday).
