GENERAL
• The Safety, Fairness, & Total competition Experience for all competitors is always our priority.
• Proper competition uniform & belt must be worn representing your teacher & art form.
• The first to register will be the last to compete in all divisons. All registration entries will be dated as received. Registration form or E-mail notice without payment
is NOT considered registered.
• After preregistrations are received, bracketing will be determined to Assigned Rings according to age group. Black belts have their own assigned rings.
• 3 Judges in all color belt divisions White through Brown
• 5 Judges for Black Belt competition. HEAD JUDGE has Full control of the division rings
• Any unsportsmanlike conduct will result in disqualification, this includes parents, fellow competitors, & instructors, may result in being escorted out & off the
premises. We reserve the right to refuse entry & competition without reason.
• Each & Every Ring will have a designated Ring Manager, Time keeper, Score Keeper & Ring Runner.
SAFETY EQUIPMENT (Point, Teams & Continuous) Foam dipped hand, foot and head gear required for all competitors. Face shields and chest guard recommended
for all youth competitors. Mouth piece mandatory. Groin protector mandatory for male fighting competitors.
RULES
POINTS SCORING AREAS: Head, Ribs, Chest and Abdomen. (No groin). All hand techniques 1 point, All kick techniques 2 points. Light Contact on scoring areas, just
touch. 2 min 1 round or 5 points spread. Black belt 8 point spread.
CONTINUOUS SCORING AREAS same as point sparring. All hand techniques 1 point, All kick techniques 2 points. Light Contact on scoring areas, just touch. 2 rounds
45 seconds each. Black Belts 2 rounds 1 min. each.
TEAM SPARRING Sequence youngest to oldest in junior, lightest to heaviest in adult. Amount of point to win-total point of all matches. Light contact on scoring
areas. 90 seconds each match
Depending on the size of each division, we reserve the right to split larger divisions or to combine smaller divisions. In as many circumstances as we are able to, competitors belonging to
the same schools in the same division will be matched up to compete in later rounds if possible. We reserve the right to refuse service and competition without reason.
READ AND SIGN: All competitors under the age of 18 must have their registration form signed by a parent or legal guardian. By signing the registration form, you here by acknowledge and
understand that participating in a martial arts competition (Ki-senshi “Espiritu Guerrero” Martial Arts Championship), workshops, classes or seminars is a physical activity (including, but not
limited to competition, demonstrations, and spectating) and can lead to injuries. Being fully aware of the risks involved, do hereby expressly assume all risks of injury or other damages
related to his or her participation in or attendance of the Ki-senshi “Espiritu Guerrero” Martial Arts Championship and forever releases David Lopez Aguilar, Dulce Mauricio, owners,
officers, directors, employees and agents Ki-senshi Martial Arts LLC from any and all liability for injury or damages related to his or her participation in or attendance of Ki-senshi “Espiritu
Guerrero” Martial Arts Championship. The signed attendee voluntarily waives all rights to seek compensation from any of the above parties for accidental or negligent in tort or contract
resulting in any way from his or her participation in attendance of the Ki-senshi Martial Arts “Espiritu Guerrero” Martial Arts Championship. The sufficiency of which as consideration is
hereby acknowledged for attendees signature. The attendee grants to the Ki-senshi Martial Arts “Espiritu Guerrero” Martial Arts Championship the unrestricted rights to record, edit, and
compile performances and likeness and sell, distribute or other- wise utilize the recording in any manner desired by those parties, and expressly waive all rights to seek compensation from
those or any other parties for the attendees likeness, voice and or performance at the Ki-senshi “Espiritu Guerrero” Martial Arts Championship.
