The goal of the second edition of the Southwest Showdown is to provide
a quality tournament at a low cost. Swift Current has fantastic facilities,
knowledgeable officials, and dedicated volunteers, which we believe are
the key ingredients for a successful tournament.
Tournament Highlights:
 Each team will be guaranteed 3 games and will play in a 4, 6, or 8
team draw.
 Each team will play 1 game on Friday and 2 games on Saturday
o Draws will be made with consideration to distance travelled
 No admission for spectators
 FIBA rules
 SABO referees
 $250 Entry Fee
Tournament Registration Information:
 Teams will not be entered into the tournament without full
payment of fees
 Registration deadline is May 10, 2017 (or until we reach capacity).
 Cheques payable to: Swift Current Minor Basketball
 All teams must carry insurance
