PLAYING RULES FOOTBALL 11-A SIDE MADRID YOUTH CUP 2017 Regulations Football 11-a side a. Competition Rules During our tournament we will follow the current FIFA rules, but taking into account certain exceptions that will be explained in the regulations included in this document b. Playing time All matches will be played in 2 halves of 25 minutes, with a break of 5 minutes. If case of a tied-match (just in Consolation Matches, 1/8, 1/4, ½ and FINAL) , we will proceed with the PENALTY-KICKS ROUND (5 penalty kicks per team). c. Number of players Number of players to participate in the tournament is not limited, but them all should be included in the official tournament list of every teams. Any player of a team can be registered in the players’ list of any other of their teams (same club), if both teams are in the same age group or second one is in a younger category, and not more tan 4 players per match. d. Substitutions All substitutions will be allowed for a team during a match, but the Tournament Official will be in charge of this process, as he will not allow any player entering in the field until his teammate has left if. And new player will be not allowed to get into the field if the ball is close to his position and he can get any advantage of this situation. He will get the permission to get into the field when the ball is not close to him and he cannot inmediately participate in the play. e. Teams presentation Al teams must be ready to start their games 5 minutes before of the kick-off time. Please check official schedules. Teams will enter together at the field, with the referees, following the Champions’ protocol. After this, the referee will proceed with the captains’ draw and the game will start. Both teams must inmediately leave the field as soon as the match has been finished. f. Players equipment All team shirts must be numbered and the numbers must correspond to the numbers on the team list. Numbers must be on the back of the shirts. Two players may not use the same number in any given match. If the referee decides that one team should change shirts, due to similarity to the opposing team’s shirts, the team appearing second in the program must change. 2 g. Group Matches In case of getting 2 or more teams with same numbers of points after this phase, we will get the final order according to these rules: 1) General goal difference 2) Total goals scored 3) Result(s) of match(es) between those team/s 4) By draw h. Suspensions Sending-off ofences Any player given a red card is automatically suspended from participation in the following match, except if this player got his red card for avoiding a chance of goal for the opponent team, with no aggression against the opponent and being last defender of his team. It’s mandatory for all teams to obey this rule, even if they don´t get any official notification. The Tournament Committee can decide about suspension for further game(s). A player getting 2 yellow cards in the same match will be not allowed to play on the next match. It’s mandatory for all teams to obey this rule, even if they don´t get any official notification. Severe offences will be reported to the football federation in question. IMPORTANT NOTE: If a player who is suspended is participating in a match, the team automatically loses the match 3-0. Other Suspensions: If a team is using in a match a player who was not included in the oficial list that they must show at the beggining of the tournament, or any other kind of irregularity was comitted by any team, will get a sanction and will lose the game 3-0. i. Penalty-kick Round If case of tied match, and just in Consolation Matches, 1/8, 1/4, ½ and FINAL , we will proceed with the PENALTYKICKS round (5 penalty-kicks per team). Every team involved in this procedure will get 5 penalty-kicks. Winner will be the team scoring more goals. Just the players who were in the field (playing), at the end of the match, will get the permission to participate in this round. If after these 10 penalty-kicks both teams would keep tied, they will keep shooting, one by one, more penalti-kicks until any of both teams fails and the other scores. This last team will be, in that case, the winner of the game. No one player will be allowed to get a second penalty-kick until all his teammates perform their own ones. If they all shoot, and still both teams are tied, we will start same procedure, using the same order, until we can get a winner. j. Tournament Committee The Tournament Committee will work to guarantee the FAIR PLAY at every moment. It will be able to penalise any kind of violations and irregularities that could arise during the tournament. 3 Complaints All protests must be handed to the Tournament Official of every venue a maximum of 60 minutes after the end of the match. The protest fee is €60, which will be returned if the protest is accepted and won. No protests against referees will be accepted. Once the Tournament Committee decides no more complaints in relation with that case will be accepted. k. Rules acceptance All teams participating in our tournament accept its rules. Every situation not explained in this document, that could arise during the competition, will be solved according to the Official Rules of the Royal Spanish Football Federation. IMPORTANT ADVICE: We recommend all teams participating in our tournament to bring their own ball for warmups. Balls will be not provided for the organization for this. If a team ask for them, will need to give a deposit of €20/ball to the Tournament Official of his venue. That money will be returned as soon as the ball/s will be back to the Tournament Official. 4
