In all cases my teaching has been very successful and my relations with my students have always been excellent scientifically and personally. The students' evaluation of my teaching 5 has always been excellent and my relations with my students extend over the time and space. All my colleagues and students confirm that my approach to teaching and simplifying difficult subjects is excellent. I have also taught a good number of postgraduate courses and the feedback of my students has always been excellent. In this section I give a sample of students' evaluations/comments for some undergraduate/graduate courses that I taught at Auburn University. Sample of students' comments from different courses/classes at Auburn University (2000-2005): Dr. Elnashaie is one of the best Professors that I have had since my freshman year at Auburn University. He really made the course interesting and did whatever it took for the students to understand the material. Dr.Elnashaie was an excellent teacher who showed sincere concern for both the quality of material he was presenting and the students’ learning experience. I hope to have him again. This Professor has a very effective teaching style and actually cares about the students learning. This class has been fun and exciting. He made learning fun for us. Dr.Elnashaie is one of the most helpful Professors I have had the pleasure to encounter. His door is always open. He is truly interested in the “learning” aspects of our education. Dr.Elnashaie is the best chemical engineering professor in the chemical engineering department. You are a great professor, whom I respect as a person and as a professor. Dr.Elnashaie was very effective in teaching the class. He always made sure every one felt comfortable with the material before moving ahead. I enjoyed his teaching style and appreciated his positive attitude and his enthusiastic nature. It was a nice change of pace to have a professor that seemed very happy about teaching. Dr.Elnashaie had a smile on his face & was willing to answer any& every question. By far the nicest teacher in Chem.Eng. Dr.Elnashaie is a brilliant professor and imparts that knowledge of the subject matter effectively to the students. Dr.Elnashaie exhibits concern for growth of students’ knowledge and is an excellent teacher. Dr.Elnashaie is a very good instructor and motivates his students to do their absolute best. Thank you, Dr.Elnashaie. I enjoyed it. Dr.Elnashaie taught the class very well. He made sure all the material was understood well. Dr.Elnashaie is dedicated to helping each student learn the course material. He is always helpful when students have questions or problems. Dr.Elnashaie is one of the few professors that I have ever had that really cares that the students learn the material. He is always very helpful and overall is a great teacher. About Dr.Elnashaie, I only can say that he is an excellent professor and an excellent person as well. Dr.Elnashaie had a genuine concern for his students’ understanding. He is one of the best chemical engineering professors I’ve had. In my view, the lecturer is the model for the academic instructor. He taught me a real graduate course. The course in general is wonderful. Teaching and Research at University of British Columbia( May 2005-May 2006 ): 1- Fall 2005: Graduate Course. CHBE 550. Advanced Chemical Reactors.
