Homecoming 2017
King & Queen Campaign Rules
General Rules:

Clubs may nominate one candidate for queen and/or one candidate for king.

Candidates must be sponsored by a club.

There is no cost for nominating candidates.

Candidates/clubs are encouraged to participate in “Campaign Day” on Tuesday, April 4 from 11:00am to 1:00pm in the meadows.

Candidates must attend the Party at the Pool on Thursday, April 6 for the
announcement of winners.

Newly crowned King and Queen must attend the rodeo on Saturday, April 8
to present the Stallion Cup winners.

King and Queen must attend Homecoming 2018 to pass on the crown and will
be expected at other events throughout the year as needed.
Campaigning Rules:

Giveaways may be used during the campaign.

Posters, signs, flyers, and sidewalk chalk are
acceptable for promotion.

DO NOT use paint or markers on sidewalks.

Bribes or financial compensation may not be offered to voters.
