This game is similar to a verbal charades.
• The students will be groups of two
• The teacher will project the pyramid on the over head
• One student will have his or her back turned to the board so
he/she can not see the words displayed
• The student who is facing the board will describe the words to
his/her partner using academic vocabulary without saying the
word projected.
EVIDENCE OF LEARNING:
• Teacher will walk around and observe the students to ensure
participation
• Each group will be given a blank pyramid and once the student
correctly identifies the vocabulary term they must write the
correct term and the descriptive phrase/word that best helped
he/she identify the vocab word.
