2015-16 League Sponsorship Information
In 1976, a small group of Brockport residents wanted to give young people in the area a chance to play
organized hockey. Their efforts, along with the efforts of the Brockport Lions, formed Brockport Lions Club
Hockey. In 1983, the club was incorporated and became Tri-County Eagles Youth Hockey, Inc. Over the
years, the club has grown to encompass many towns from Monroe, Orleans and Genesee counties.
Today, we are proud to say that the league has grown in size to approximately 300 boys and girls ranging
in ages from 4 to 17. We have an Initiation program that teaches young players how to skate and learn
basic hockey skills. There are also house teams, advanced travel teams and an all-girls’ team.
The league has been very successful over the years. We have had numerous divisional and state
championship teams. While it is great to experience the joys of winning, Tri-County teaches that it is
equally important to be gracious with a loss. The league also encourages fun, respect, hard work and
team play, with special attention given to player self-esteem.
All of the people involved with our league are volunteers and spend many hours of hard work to make this
a fun, learning experience for all players. Be forewarned: Hockey is a very addicting sport and a great way
for the players and families to have fun during the cold winter months.
Each year, we contact existing supporters and seek out new boosters in order to keep league dues
affordable for each family. Our biggest expense is ice fees. This adds up fast with so many teams needing
ice time to practice and play games. This is a cost that is usually never a factor in summer sports where
the community provides playing fields for baseball, soccer and football. We hope you will decide to
become a Tri-County Youth Hockey sponsor and allow us to help you advertise your business while you
support a very worthwhile cause— our kids!

The “Corporate” Sponsorship – Minimum is $1000. $200 to the league, balance goes to the team. Only
one per team. For your generosity, the sponsor receives:
2 Magnetic signs that will be placed on each side of the Zamboni as it cuts the ice for each home game.
A business card size ad & link on both the league’s & teams sponsor web page.
A recognition plaque with a team photo
A quarter page ad in the DBMT program
The “Owner” Sponsorship – Minimum is $400. $400 to the league, anything above that goes to the team.
Only one per team. For your generosity, the sponsor receives:
Your business name on the back of each team jersey on the team(s) selected
A business card size ad & link on both the league’s & teams sponsor web page.
A recognition plaque with a team photo

The “Patch” Sponsorship – Agreed Upon w/ Team. Full amount goes to the team. Only one per team.
Note that printing expense and logistics is up to the team. For your generosity, the sponsor receives;
Your business name on a shoulder/sleeve patch on each team jersey
A business card size ad & link on both the league’s & teams sponsor web page.
The “Concession/Snack Bar” Sponsorship – Minimum is $250. $50 to the league, balance to the
team. Only eight (8) eight of these sponsorships are available. For your generosity you will receive:
A sign with your business name affixed to the front of Tri-County’s snack bar
A business card size ad & link on both the league’s & teams sponsor web page.
The “Sticker” Sponsorship – Minimum is $100. Full amount goes to the team. For your generosity, you will
receive:
A business card size ad & link on both the league’s & teams sponsor web page.
A sticker of your logo or name placed on each member of the teams helmet
The “Slapshot” Sponsorship – Minimum is $50. Full amount goes to the team. For your generosity, you
will receive:
A business card size ad & link on both the league’s & teams sponsor web page.
The “Fan” Sponsorship – No Minimum amount. Full amount goes to the team. This sponsorship offers you
the flexibility to support your team in any denomination that you choose, without receiving any of the advertising benefits
in the opportunities listed above.
