RACQUETBALL CHALLENGE COURT TUESDAYS, 6-9 PM CHALLENGE COURT VISION & GOAL The Challenge Court is offered to promote the sport of racquetball and provide all players an opportunity to advance their skills by competing against a variety of other players. The Challenge Court is primarily PLAYER MANAGED. An environment of courtesy, fun, exercise, challenge, and demonstration of skills are the aims of the Challenge Court. Who can Play? All players are welcome and encouraged to play. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. How does the Challenge Court work? All players must personally sign in on the LINE-UP LIST, located at the entrance to Court 1. Each game will be to ELEVEN POINTS. After game is over, Winner plays next Challenger. If the next Challenger in line has stepped away or is not available for play, this player’s name goes to the end of the list and the next in line moves up. First in line, or Winner has SERVE ADVANTAGE. Winner can hold the court a maximum of TWO GAMES AFTER WINNING THE COURT. After playing and rotating out, a player may ADD THEIR NAME to the bottom of the list to continue play. (As a courtesy to those who come to play, do not add your name to the bottom of the list until after you have completed your game.) How to keep the Challenge Court fun and safe: USA Racquetball Association (USRA) standards for play will be observed. Rules can be reviewed at: http://www.usra.org Safety eye gear is highly recommended. All rackets must have strap (string) attached to player’s wrist. Viewing from above is encouraged. However, players should be downstairs and “ready to go” at the end of each game. Court 2 is designated for Doubles with the above rules being applied. Court 2 may be used for Single if no interest is shown for Doubles. Court 1 will always be reserved for Single play only. Common courtesy and good sportsmanship are required at all times. Bad sportsmanship will result in the forfeit of the game
