Dear RABA Families,
We are happy to announce the start of our 7th RABA WINTER YOUTH season for 7-15 year olds!
DATES TO REMEMBER: *once schedules are made there will be no changes so please plan accordingly as we cannot
accept requests for dates, times, etc.
Player Evaluation Dates:
Saturday, October 8th, Tuesday, October 11th, and Thursday, October 13th
Drafts to be Held:
Monday, October 17th – Wednesday, October 26th
*Teams will be announced by October 28th
The 7-8 Year Old Division will play Tuesday nights and Sunday mornings at the Joseph T St. Lawrence Center. We run this division as a clinic
where we teach the fundamental skills needed to play a game of basketball before we incorporate games on Sunday mornings to use those skills in
a game format. There will be no playoffs for this division and games will be refereed by Town of Ramapo staff. This division will begin
November 15th and run until February 12th.
The 9 –15 Year Old Division will play games at the Joseph T. St. Lawrence Center and Pomona Middle School (on Tuesdays). Teams will be
scheduled to play minimally two times a week. Extra time outside this will be determined by court, coach and team availability and will be
distributed as evenly as possible around the main schedule. The season format is as follows:
Practice: November 1st-November 27th
Practice/Games (12 games): November 30th-December 22nd AND January 3rd-Jan 22nd
Playoffs (Double Elimination): January 24th-February 16th
VOLUNTEER COACHES ARE NECESSARY TO ACCEPT AS MANY KIDS AS POSSIBLE! We need 1 coach for every 9 players. Please

Age divisions will be 7-8, 9-10, 11-12 & 13-15
