What does BCoT want?
To provide a clear progression route within further education for
existing and local learners onto level 4 programmes and beyond.
To develop higher education by working with employers and our
partner universities to develop new flexible routes into pre-degree
and degree level learning.
05
01
Allow people to work and study at the same time, developing
specific skills employers are seeking, providing more cost
effective learning opportunities than traditional university
undergraduate provision.
We will look to develop full-cost higher-level provision, as
well as that supported through government loans. Employer
sponsored provision, and professional level qualifications
validated by professional bodies, provide a significant opportunity
for development.
