Program Description: The Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree for Graphic Design Students is designed for the student
who plans to transfer to a Florida public university as a junior to complete a Bachelor’s degree. A student who
earns an A.A. degree from Broward College meets the lower division general education requirements of a Florida
state university, but does not automatically meet the requirements for a particular major.

Students must successfully meet the foreign language requirement as prescribed in the college catalog.
One science lab course is required. The student may choose to take either the Physical or Biological Science lab.
The computer literacy requirement must be met by taking either CGS1060C or testing out.
Students must take ENC1101; ENC1102 or ENC2210; and two additional writing credit courses (6 credits) to graduate.
Students must take 3 credits of International/Intercultural coursework to graduate.
