The MdCV 3rd Grade Nature Trail Adventure
The 3rd grade class went to the Nature Trail
in Melvern on Tuesday, October 9th for a
field trip. We split up in three groups and
had different leaders. Norma Patterson, Sue
Burkdoll, and Nancy Alley were our leaders.
We went on a scavenger hunt. We found
hedgeballs, Redbud leaves, Cottonwood
Trees, and Bladder Nut Seeds. Then we
roasted hot dogs and smores at the shelter.
We received a bag of goodies, including a
cool water bottle. Then we went to the gate
and waited for our ride. We had a lot of
fun!!!! Written by Riley Spillman and Dalton
