Broadway Road, Phoenix, AZ 85040 602-425-5000 | Fax 602-232-2425 www.krocphoenix.org Dear Family, Friends and Organizations: The KCVA volleyball teams will be participating in the AZ Region Volleyball schedule for the 2016-2017 season. The goal of KCVA is to provide players with affordable, quality volleyball training, and to prepare them for possible collegiate careers. With the support of community members, businesses and organizations such as yours, our passion to help all the team members to achieve their goals can be accomplished. We are determined to provide a high-quality experience that will enable us to meet the goals of the individual players, the staff and the team as a whole. The program allows players to learn the game of volleyball in a competitive, fun, and safe environment. We strive to help girls develop skills that they can use on and off the court such as teamwork, perseverance, and leadership skills. As an added benefit, all players are given full access to all amenities at the Kroc Corps Community Center including, tutoring, computer usage for homework assignments, library access, usage of all fitness equipment, personal trainers and if needed, spiritual guidance for a total sense of wellbeing. All KCVA teams are also required to give back by participating in a minimum of one community service event a season. With that in consideration, it’s our desire that individuals and/or establishments, will contribute to the 2016-2017 season with a donation. Your generous gift will help to sponsor players who otherwise could not afford to participate. Currently, we have seven teams with a roster of 12 players for a total of approximately 84 players. Cost per player is $1350 - $2000 for the entire season (traveling teams require more funds). We believe we are one of the most affordable and caring volleyball clubs in Arizona. However, many of our team members may not be able to meet this low cost and need some help. Any assistance you can offer is most appreciated and a tax-deductible receipt is available upon request. A copy of our status as exempt under section 501 (c) (3) is available upon request. The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center is looking forward to your participation. Enclosed you will find a sponsorship form. Please take the time to listen to the tug in your heart as we listen to the heartbeats of each of our team players. Thank you in advance for your awesome financial gifts and overall support of this program.
