Dormitory – cleaning of common areas in the
building
As a tenant, you are responsible for cleaning and maintaining the common areas in the building in
which you live in, therefore:
Each tenant takes turn to clean the following:
- Sweep or vacuum of all landings and stairs in the building.
- Wash all the landings and stairs.
- Vacuum or sweep and wash floor of the lift.
- Polish the mirror in the lift
- Remove leaves, advertisement paper etc. in front of the mailboxes.
Remind each other of this; especially the newcomers
There is a list on the closet in the entrance in your building, where you can see when it is your turn
to clean the common areas, and when the cleaning is expected to be done.
In the event that you are not at home during the period where you are responsible for the
cleaning, it is your OWN responsibility to find another tenant and switch shifts.
If the cleaning of the common areas isn’t done, or the cleaning is not acceptable, a fee will be
imposed and added to next month’s rent. The fee will be approx. 565 DKK.
