Voted on by the coaches in the Catholic High School Girls Athletic Association, Keri received this honor at the League Championship for her leadership, dedication and enthusiastic spirit in athletics and academics. Keri has played soccer since she was 4 years old and is currently the Captain for the Sacred Heart Academy and New Hyde Park soccer teams. Keri’s natural desire to take the lead motivates her to do her best and succeed in all that she attempts. While maintaining a busy athletic schedule, working at the Strathmore‐Vanderbilt Country Club and as a babysitter, she upholds a 95 average at Sacred Heart Academy and is a member of the National Honor Society. Keri has embraced community service and often exceeds Sacred Heart’s 20 hour requirement by devoting her time to service projects like Habitat for Humanity and breast cancer awareness initiatives. She also enjoys volunteering at TOPSoccer, a community‐based training and team placement program for young athletes with special needs. Keri is committed to Marist College where she will continue to play soccer and study to become a Physician’s Assistant. Her long‐term goal is to travel to under‐developed countries to give medical care to people in need.
