KERALA FUTSAL LEAGUE 2016
• Kerala Futsal League 2016 (KFL) is a professional futsal
league, which starts on October 21, 2016 (Kerala Sports
Day) and ends by November 22, 2016. The idea of KFL is
originated in the classroom of Sports & Management
Research Institute (SMRI), Ernakulam. The salient features of
the KFL are as follows
1.
20 teams in 4 pools (Minimum 4 matches for each team)
2.
23 days long Futsal excitement
3.
Total Prize money of Rs.50,000
4.
The league will be co-owned by the 20 participating teams
5.
Exciting fans-engagement activities (curtain raisers,
roadshow, Predict & win contest etc)
KFL OBJECTIVE
• To regain the lost football culture of Kerala through Futsal
• To establish a grass-root futsal league in Kerala in the format
of English Premier League
• To help footballers to live by playing futsal
• To give exciting footballing moments for all football lovers
KFL STRUCTURE
• 20 teams in 4 pools (Minimum 4 matches for each team)
• Corporate teams, college teams and clubs will participate
• Top team of the pool will be promoted to the semi finals.
• Points will be awarded for the semi-finals and final also
• The prize money will be distributed among the top 4 teams
based on the total points they scored.

• Daily 2 matches

TEAM OWNERSHIP
• Clubs, colleges, corporate houses or individual groups can
register for the league
• Registration Fee for corporate houses: Rs. 10,000
• Registration Fee for others: Rs. 5,000
• A team can register maximum of 8 players under their team
• They can’t change the players without the prior permission of
the League Commissioner
• Team must conduct and participate league promotion activities
• Teams can use the KSL Logo, Mascot & Theme Song for their
promotional activities
TEAM SPONSORSHIP
• Companies can sponsor a team for
• Rs.15,000 (Partner sponsorship)
• Rs.10,000 (Supporter Sponsorship)
• In partner sponsorship, the teams name will be the name which
sponsor proposes or the name of sponsor company/brand
• In supporter sponsorship, the name of sponsor company or
brand will be prefixed with the club/team name
PATRON SPONSOR
• Title Sponsor- The league will be known in your name <Your
brand> KFL till the next year league and will be mentioned in
all historical documents such as Wikipedia
• Logo included on all marketing materials, press and court
backdrop
• Logo and name on website with hyperlink to website
• Two perimeter adverts on court
• One full page advert in official programme
• Customized marketing campaign based on your specific
requirement
• Investment: Rs. 2,00,000

• To be one of two power sponsors. The name will be mentioned
as KFL 2016 Powered by <Buddy Sponsor 1> and <Buddy

• The name will be mentioned in the communications with
