The Cross County Volleyball Program would like to invite all girls
entering grades 9-12 this fall to attend our summer volleyball camp. We will
be having a two part camp format this year. This year along with the Cross
County Coaching staff, we are featuring Dean Farley from Syracuse High
School and The Volleyball Academy Coaching Staff (Deb Grafentin) out of
Omaha.
This year’s camp will feature Dean Farley from Syracuse, NE. He
currently coaches at the Nebraska Juniors Club Program. Dean has 27 years
of High school and Club volleyball experience. He was the Nebraska Coaches
Association Head Coach in 2007 and the Nebraska Coaches Association
Assistant Coach in 2002. Dean was the Head Coach at Syracuse High School
for 15 years. He had 9 State Tournament appearances and was the 1999
State Runner Up. He has a 340-60 record.
It will also feature Deb Grafentin, from The Volleyball Academy which
is home of the River City Juniors Club out of Omaha, NE.
Deb has been coaching volleyball for 37 years in college (6),
high school (17), and club (29).
Deb’s Teaching Philosophy:
I believe in teaching the fundamentals correctly and
efficiently so each player can maximize their speed, power,
quickness and agility to enhance their performance in the
skills of the game. I want the players to have fun while
learning. My goal is to have athletes gain success through
fun and hard work.
The camp will feature many competitions, quality instruction and
various games to improve player’s skills. Come be a part of the Cougar
tradition.
What: Cross County High School Volleyball Camp
When: Cougar Camp Part 1 with Coach Farley: July 9th from 2pm to 5pm and
July 10th from 9am and 12pm and 3:30pm to 6:00pm.
When: Cougar Camp Part 11 with The Volleyball Academy: July 20th and July
21st from 8am to 12pm both days.
Where: Cross County High School
