Over the last few years, renovations at both the Addison Gallery of American
Art and the Fogg Art Museum have included big collections moves. At the
Addison it is a story of one lone, renegade Registrar, four crazy contractual
packers, and one air-ride climate controlled truck. At the Fogg, a collections
coterie, the same crazy contractual packers and a fleet of dollies, hand trucks,
and forklifts did the job. The survivors will gather to share their stories, tips,
challenges, and words of wisdom.
A tour of the Fogg’s new facility will be included.
