Dear Members, Please take the time to read this important

Dear Members,
Please take the time to read this
important newsletter.
At last the paperwork is signed, the
money transferred and we own the tennis
club!
This means that we are now on a campaign
to raise money for a new clubhouse. We
have had promising words from HDC and a
local charity to support us in this venture
and we are speaking to the LTA about a
potential contribution from them.
As part of this process, a separate letter
will be coming out soon asking about
donations from the membership-this could
be financial or it could be a donation in kinddo you have a relevant skill we could use in
the planning and building of a clubhouse?
Everyone can help in a simple way-please
read the column opposite and act now-we
have a matter of a few weeks to pull all of
this together.
Please continue to talk to the committee
about any ideas or issues you may have.

Your help is needed-NOW
As part of our application process for
money, we need to collect evidence from
different groups of people who use the club.
We need letters/emails from you stating
clearly who you are and the advantages
that having a new clubhouse with changing
rooms a proper kitchen , toilets and shower
facilities etc would have for you and other
players like you. In particular what are the
aspects of the club you enjoy, stress these!
Could we encourage more members with a
new clubhouse? What other events could
we do with a new clubhouse that we do not
do now? How can we increase our
community input? All ideas welcome.
Members of the committee are working
very hard to make the very best application
that we can so we are asking for a small
piece of support from you-we will all benefit
from a new clubhouse, please take a few
minutes to help.
SO, IF YOU ARE A PARENT OF A
CHILD WHO HAS COACHING OR PLAYS
IN A TEAM, A MEMBER OF THE U3A, A
NEW MEMBER, A TEAM PLAYER, A

US BY WRITING TO ME WITH YOUR
