U.S. Squash Accredited Junior Draw Types
Below is a worksheet that will help you create draws that guarantee three matches per player using the U.S. Squash online Draw Software.
*Please note that this is primarily for the use of Tournament Directors of Bronze and Silver Tournaments. If you are the Tournament Director of a Gold
Tournament, the U.S. Squash Tournaments Team will work with you closely in the process of creating your draws.
In order to create draws, you must follow the steps outlined below:
1) Click on "Manage" for any draw from the Tournament Home Page.
2) In the "Division Properties" section at the top of the screen, select the options based on the number of players that
correspond to the following table.
3) At the top of the "Player Roster" section, "Sort by: 'U.S. Squash Points.'" A popup will appear. Click OK and let the page reload.
4) At the top of the "Player Roster" section, "Seeding: 'Based on sort order.'"
5) Double check players - Identify any players whose seeding may need to be changed
6) Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "Save and Create Draw."
7) Once the next page loads, click on "Save Draw" at the top of the page.
These draws guarantee 3 matches per player. Please note that not all the Plate Draws will be full and that BYEs will need to be placed based on the number of
players in each draw. For example, in a draw with 18 players, two Plate draws must be created for 8 players each, however only two players will feed into Plate 1, so
the rest of Plate 1 should be filled in with BYE's.
