crossed cheque payable to the “Hong Kong Basketball Association”
with the school name marked clearly on the back, to the School
Sports Programme Unit, 1/F, Leisure and Cultural Services
Headquarters, 1-3 Pai Tau Street, Sha Tin.
Should any school cancel the activity after the HKBA has arranged
coaches for the Sport Demonstration, the Easy Sport Programme and
the Outreach Coaching Programme according to its application, the
HKBA will deduct an *administrative fee from the payment of the

If the school requests to cancel the Sport Demonstration on the event
day, no compensation such as refund or rescheduling of the
programme would be arranged.

If the activity cannot be arranged by the HKBA or the LCSD, the cheque(s) for payment of
the enrolment fee will be returned to the school concerned.

Note: 1. Schools are advised to delegate a person-in-charge aged 18 or above or a teacher to oversee the
activity.
2. Please specify on the application whether it is for school team or non-school team when applying for
training courses under the Outreach Coaching Programme.
3. Students are requested to put on sports shoes and proper sportswear during lessons.
4. Basketball is available under the Sport Captain Programme. Please refer to the respective
prospectus for details. (P.138)
5. Before the completion of the basketball training under the Easy Sport Programme, the coaches will
conduct the assessment according to various levels of badges. The LCSD will present badges and
certificates free of charge to those who reach the required standards. Please refer to the “School
Sports Programme-Handbook on Basketball Badges Award Scheme” for details.
6. Priority will be given to schools which have joined basketball training under the Easy Sport
Programme during the academic year 2014-15 to take part in the “Easy Sport Competition-3 on 3
Basketball Competition” to be held by the LCSD in 2016. Details will be announced later.
7. Primary schools have taken part in basketball training under the Outreach Coaching Programme
during the academic year 2014-15 may participate in the “Outreach Coaching Programme-
Basketball Competition for Primary Schools” to be held in November 2015. Details will be
announced later.
8. Secondary schools have taken part in basketball training under the Outreach Coaching Programme
between September 2014 and December 2015 may participate in the “Outreach Coaching Programme
-Basketball Competition for Secondary Schools” to be held between February and March 2016.
Details will be announced later.
3
