Sense the Arrival of a New Era
In recent, many European players are in hot pursuit for the leading positions. It seems no perceived front-runners, and it will be just hard to
expect the potential winner at each match of the Toray PPO because of the nearly equal power and skills based on the advanced trainings.
Drawing upon athleticism and grace, players who feature WTA’s campaign “Strong is Beautiful” are coming to Toray PPO Tennis. Please do not
miss it.
The “Top 10 Players” are determined according to the year-end ranking every year, and each of them make their entries to four
Premier 5 tournaments of next season. Below eight Top 10 Players have made their entries to the 2012 Toray PPO.

Kimiko Date-Krumm expressed her intention to play at Toray PPO
Message from Kimiko Date-Krumm
Dear Toray PPO Tennis fans,
Again this year, I will play at Toray PPO Tennis.
Playing opportunities is very limited in Japan. Since this the only tournament held in Tokyo,
so it is very important and precious one for me.
I am looking forward to put more spirit into the fall season, focusing on this tournament.
Among the Top 10 players who will participate in the 2012 Toray PPO Tennis,
I hope I would have a match with V. Azarenka, as I had practices with her last summer, and would like
to feel how she has enhanced her skills since then.
Though I could not pick up my pace last time, I believe that I have been taking a each step certainly
since 2008 when I returned to the tour.
I will do my best so that you will enjoy my greater performance than ever in the Toray PPO 2012.
See you at Ariake, everyone!
