Guidance Notes for the completion of this application form

1. Before completing the form, please either telephone the Aircraft Registry on +44(0)1624 682358 or
email [email protected] requesting confirmation that your requested Mark(s) is/are available.
2. Letter combinations will not be accepted which might be confused with the five-letter combinations
used in the International Code of Signals, Part II, the three-letter combinations beginning with Q
used in the Q code, and with the distress signal SOS, or other similar urgent signals, for example
XXX, PAN and TTT.
3. After the telephone/email confirmation of availability, the registration mark(s) will be held for 7 days
pending receipt of payment.
4. Registrations can only be reserved for existing aircraft, or aircraft on order.
(Registration Marks cannot be reserved speculatively).
5. Upon confirmation of availability, please complete the form and send it to [email protected]
6. See ‘Scheme of Charges’ Part 2, Registration, on the Aircraft Registry website; www.aircraft.im for the
charges involved.
7. Upon confirmation of receipt of payment, the requested Registration Mark(s) will be reserved for
twelve calendar months. If the expected aircraft delivery is longer than twelve months, payment
should be made for the delivery period expected.
