4. Which side won the debate? Why? (4 lines)
The second side that opposed sports centers for women in Saudi Arabia, won the
debate. It won the debate as it presented strong reasons to convince that high
percentage of women in Saudi are so much bound with house hold chores and tasks
that they can’t manage to have enough time to join a sport center. Culture in this
country consider women as a nurturer for the family and to be responsible for indoor
jobs.
5. What are 3 other reasons the losing side could have given to have strengthened their
argument ? (4 lines)
It could have stressed on the severe need for socializing. As the culture in Saudi
Arabia keeps women indoors, they do not have many opportunities to socialize
though they feel isolated and yearn to be more social. Sports Centers in this country
can be a golden opportunity for women to socialize and live an active lifestyle which
is highly required to lower the chances of obesity and diabetes.

a. That when people are young they tend to have a better stamina.

a. Young girls experience traumatic events from early childbirth and even some die
giving birth.
b. Early marriage makes young girls who are poor become poorer because without
education.
9. Which side won the debate? Why? (4 lines)
The first side that supported early marriages won the debate . It mentioned facts
that when we are young, we are physically in better health to give birth and to bring
up kids. It also mentioned the truth that early marriages give us the chance to have
children at an early age .So when the kids grow up , we will be at our middle age
which is not too old to give company and support to our grown up kids.
10. What are 3 other reasons the losing side could have given to have strengthened
their argument? (4 lines)
It could have mentioned the very high rate of divorce among couples married
at an early age due to insufficient knowledge of handling marriage problems.
People at early age are still learning. They are not matured enough to know who is
a good match for them. Neither they have experience or enough knowledge of
how to handle marital conflicts and overcome communication or personality
difference gaps.

a. Children to play video games is develop their skills
b. Found to benefit children’s social well being
13. Reasons against the issue
a. They are a waste of time and some thinks that video games have a bad affect on the
brain.
b. Excessive playing makes the player isolated from people around him/her.
14. Which side won the debate? Why? (4 lines)
The second side that opposed video games , won the debate. It good points to
support its perspective that video games cause children waste their time. They have
negative impact on children’s minds. Children who spend a lot of time playing video
games are observed to be aggressive and less patient than other kids. It is also true
reason that children do not socialize as much as they should being too busy with
video games most of the time.

argument? (4 lines)
The other side could have won the debate by showing advantages of video games.
Video games can be useful when their time and content is controlled by an adult. If
parents set specific limited timing and rules to play video games, they could turn out to
be a productive, informative and training activity for kids to provide them scientific,
geographical and other useful information with entertainment through games.
