Camp Counselors for Camp I, II & III must be at least 15 years old to serve as a camp
counselor and participating in camp in either Performance Track or Technical Track.
This is a leadership role. An Interview will be required.
This person should have experience with the camp and willing to assist the director, stage
manager and generally be uplifting!
Some common duties might include things like:
taking attendance,
leading games or warm-ups,
take notes,
perform some side tasks that help the production,
and serve to encourage people that are experiencing some difficulties.
Communication skills are critical and working as a camp counselor can improve your
skills in many ways such as critical thinking, listening, independence, responsibility,
adaptability, and teamwork. If you’re looking to get MORE out of camp this year then
consider serving as a Camp Counselor! We need your help, and it looks good on those
College and job applications. There will only be 3-5 Counselors chosen for each camp.
There is no compensation offered for this position, but there are other ways that the
Presser experience can offer young people benefits for their time spent at the center.
There will be an interview process before and after camp.
