European Company Sport Games 2017
General provisions

Bowl Inn – Kortrijksesteenweg 209, 9830 Sint-Martens-Latem
O’Learys – Dok Noord 7, 9000 Gent
Three shifts a day are played in the bowling centers: Bowling Stones
Oudenaarde and O'Leary's Ghent, and 2 shifts in the Bowl Inn Sint-MartensLatem. Finals will be played in the Bowl Inn.
ATTENTION: these locations all have a big carpark, but for O’Learys it’s is an
underground parking where you will pay 6 EUR/day.

Attendance:
Presentation of players is required the latest 30 minutes before the start of
their first game.
Awards:
The 3 best teams for each category will receive medals and diplomas, but
also the 3 best ladies and the 3 best men get rewarded.
For the individual prizes the 4 highest scored games of the 6 games during
Thursday and Friday, will have a chance of winning these prizes. If there is an
equality, the winner is the one with the lowest difference between his
highest en lowest score of the 4 games. If it’s still equal, then the highest
score will count, untill there is a difference.
Technical provisions
Rules:
The competition is in accordance with the regulations of the World Tenpin
Bowling Association and the regulations mentioned in this document.
Conditions of participation:
Properly registred teams in the term, including payment of invoices.
Class divisions:
No division.
Team composition:
A team consists of 4 players (max. 5).
➢ Substitution of a player is possible, but the substitute can’t play in
another team.
➢ Substitution of a player is only possible between 2 games.

➢ The teams can be either pure women, pure men or mixed by women
and men.
➢ The full names of the team and the players will be written on the
score system.
Game model:
All games will be played according the European style.
➢ Each player bowls 3 games in each round.
➢ There are no lane changes per block of 3 games.
Women will receive 5 pins in handicap in all games played in the tournament.
System:
There are 2 qualifying days. The teams play a block of 3 games on each of
those qualification days. Teams will be qualified according to the amount of
cones they overturn during the 6 qualification games.
There are 4 teams in 1 group.
After the qualification, the 40 best teams will play the final on Saturday:
➢ The 28 pool winners
➢ Added with the 12 best runners-up: the 2nd teams with the highest
scores.
Finals will be played in 2 shifts of 2 games each. Every shift counts 20 teams.
After these 2 shifts, the 16 highest scoring teams will play the Knock-Down
final. Each final of this Knock-Down is 1 game per match.
Only the 4 top qualifying games determine the ranking. At equality of, the
highest game is considered.
Scoring system:
Qualification and finals will be ranked with thrown pins incl. handicap.
Oil pattern:
All games are played on the Bourbon Street Pattern.

Results:
Results will be hang out on the sports venue. Also each evening all results will
be published in the Meeting Center.
Objections:
Teams can submit a protest against the game or decision in 30 minutes after
the game and are obligated for a deposit of 20 EUR, which in case of
compliance of your objection will be returned. Potential protest will be
addressed to organisers and ECSG sport manager. It is the tournament leader
who takes a decision.
Special arrangements: Each participant travels and attends at his own risk. Organiser provides first
aid only. It is recommended to carry your insurance card with you at all time.
The organiser reserves the right to modify or change the schedule if
necessary.
