Cleaner – Weekly deep clean of everything in the building – sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub all surfaces. Includes replacement of all consumables. Marketer/Social Media – Post quality content multiple times daily to IG, FB, TW, including workout of the day, announcements, PRs, accomplishments, good pictures, motivational stuff, tips and expertise. Establish, maintain and improve professional reputation. Appropriate interaction with clients/potential clients. Facilitate connection between prospective clients and GM/trainer. Photographer – Produce high-quality images for SM and marketing. Documents events, PRs for joy girl. Website Admin – Responsible for all daily workout posts and announcements, as well as general upkeep and maintenance of core content. Responds to all comments and interacts with clients/potential clients. Programmer – Creates and implements workout plan for gym at least 3 weeks in advance. Makes programming available to coaches through shared docs. Tracks results, monitors progress, notes PRs for joy girl, makes adjustments based on successes or challenges. Ensures variance, sound principles of S&C/CF. Ensures staff understands and implements, answers all questions. Accommodates specialty programs when possible through co-ordination. Staff Scheduler – Accommodates all staff requests for hours and facilitates staff’s inputting of their schedules. Ensures coverage of all classes and coordination of staff members. Inputs schedule in Zenplanner as soon as it’s ready. Event Planner – Ensures monthly membership event in place (speakers, gatherings, outings, etc.), generates momentum and excitement. Varies events. In charge of planning for all competitions and special events. Provides trackable resources. Ensures billing and scheduling done properly (if needed). Nutrition Consultant – Generates leads and clients. Meets with clients 1-on-1 to assess needs and create solutions. Checks in on clients. Provides trackable resources. Ensures billing and scheduling done properly. Maintenance – Checks various details on daily/hourly basis (TP, bathrooms, garbages, chalk, etc.), providing backup to weekly cleaner by touching up as needed. Takes initiative in slow times and requests additional hours if needed to maintain standards. In charge of AED and Maintenance Checklist (check bolts, batteries, straps, bands, etc.). Fixes when possible, notes issues for GM when other expertise is needed. Fills out all logs regularly. Retailer – Manages all aspects, including selection of products, marketing/display, payment processing, answering questions, restocking, preordering. Works with bookkeeper to ensure all is well and inventory is accurate. Joy Girl – Retention-retention-retention. Ensures no member has an expiring membership without an email 30 days in advance. Ensures no member ever has to sign up for another membership him- or herself. Thanks members for renewing. Sends out pics and congrats on PRs (in coordination with programmer). Tracks down absentees by monitoring attendance. Motivates members when needed. Works with SM manager to generate good feelings. Follows up with on-ramp graduates and new members. Contacts members about birthdays, events, other good things. Sends out gifts for long-term members. GM – Ensures all above roles are fulfilled to the letter in accordance with desires of CEO. CEO – Signs leases, works with lawyers/accountants/bankers, approves large purchases, creates ideas and assigns them to staff for execution, interacts with other CEOs to create new opportunities for staff, meets regularly with GM to review performance and transmit new ideas and plans.
