Compare of Rational Decision Making Style based on Manager's
Personality

Abstract
The aim of this study is to compare the rational style decisions based on personality traits
among school principals in secondary schools has been 2th Urmia Educational District. The
statistical population included all managers of high schools in 2th Urmia Educational District
to 44 people. To determine the sample size based on Morgan table and using stratified
random sampling method and with regard to gender, 40 patients were selected for the study.
The results showed: rational decision making style based on personality traits was different.

Introduction
The decision, one of the most significant organizational processes, considered as the main
task managers of all levels of the organization is raised. So that some experts believe that all
management decisions. Kuntz In this case, contends that plan, program, policy depends on the
decision. Who, what, when, where and how to do? Life in all organizations, including the
organizations needed to adopt different solutions and continuous to can this. Managers should
perform a variety of tasks and functions to your organization's leadership. Generally,
decisions over time is a challenge for managers; during their organizational mission because
they face issues and situations that require decisions.
Research on people's decision-making style and the factors affecting it, the internal properties
and individual differences people have a lot of attention and accordingly five styles of
decision-making rational, intuitive, dependent, spontaneous and avoidant have offered (Parker
et al., 2007). Factors such as government policies, community expectations, expectations of
supervisors, and subordinates, parents and students, the environment, centralization and
decentralization structure of education and personality characteristics executives are involved
in their performance. The characteristics and personality types has an important role because
the kind of behavior and the behavior of each individual, he is more a function of personality
types (Shamkhani, 2011). Psychologically each product type specific interaction between
multiple personal and cultural forces like peers, hereditary and genetic factors, parental social
class, culture and physical environment. In other words, type, specific reserves of attitudes
and skills in order to overcome difficulties and duties environment. Because different types of
interests, qualifications and temperament states are different, they tend to surround themselves
with people and special topics and issues that are in search of interests, qualifications and
their thinking is congruent to the world (Ghanji, 2011).
One of the most common classifications used by psychologists for character, introversion and
extroversion, which was used for the first time by Carl Yung. Long before conclusions are
interested. It seems that determines the types of personality when choosing their teachers and
discuss the exorbitant considering it to be. Such as "characteristic traits is one of the factors
affecting their performance."(Farahi Bozanjani, 2012). But in many cases, those involved in
education assigningn not enough attention to personality types. So people who might be
recruited to manage their personal Tpyhay lead to optimal performance and such decision
shall not be appropriate. For this purpose it is necessary to determine personality types that
the personality characteristics of managers in their decision-making style is what?
Bakhshi G. (2015) study entitled "Effects of Gender on the personality and style of decisionmaking school principals and teaching activities" has done. The results show that the
combination of introspection, sensuality, thinking and judgment as well as combination of
extraversion, sensuality, thinking, judgment and personality types most common among
school principals in Iran. The results also show that male and female managers with different
personality types have the same decision-making style and teaching activities have an impact
on gender and personality.
Lashkari Ferrin (2014) in a study entitled "The relationship between personality
characteristics of managers and their career success in high school girls in Tabriz came to the
conclusion that: The characteristic traits and career success there is an inverse relationship
between extroversion there is a significant positive correlation with job success. Flexibility

Alkahtny et al (2013) study entitled "Effect of five major dimensions of personality
Malaysian managers and how to choose their leadership practices" have done. The results
suggest that Malaysian managers who are conscious and experience-oriented. The managers
take advantage of leadership practices consulting. However, some authoritarian and arbitrary
practices, some democratic practices and other practices profligate use rather coarse. As a
result of this study showed that a significant positive relationship between personality and
leadership styles of the managers there.
In 2013 a study by Reading, Oe was wriggling and Abe, which aims to investigate the effects
of personality characteristics and leadership of school principals in Ekiti State, Nigeria. This
research was descriptive. The study population included all administrators and teachers in
public schools in the state of Ekiti Nigeria is second base. The significant difference between
the age of managers and influence their leaders was achieved. But there are significant
differences between male and female leadership does not work does not exist. Smith Cry
(2011) research on personality traits and job success, a Thai model to predict occupational
success of the five-factor personality traits of each, in a sample consisting of 2518 people
were seven groups concluded that between the personality trait of all groups there was a
significant negative correlation with job success. But between extraversion and
conscientiousness are significant positive correlation with job success.
Methodology
In this study, given the nature of matter and the study of descriptive - has been used. Also
according to the study objectives are applied. The statistical population included all managers
of high schools in District 2 Urmia to 44 people. 95-1394 secondary schools in the academic
year in the second period working. In this study the following questionnaires were used to
measure the variables. The questionnaire was answered by managers.

The rational decision making style based on personality traits among school principals in
secondary schools Urmia region 2 is different.

To test the difference between principals rational decision one way ANOVA was used to test
the results in the tables.

So we can conclude that the null hypothesis was confirmed, the assumption of homogeneity
of variance exists and can be used to ANOVA test.

According to ANOVA and f calculated at a significance level of 0.000 the critical value
05/0 is smaller, we can conclude that the null hypothesis is rejected and the research hypothesis
is confirmed, in fact, the use school administrators rational decisions according to their
personality significantly different. This difference in LSD post hoc test was evaluated results
are shown in the table below.

Results Table (4) follow-up indicated that the neurotic personality type was lower than
rational decision making style and character groups a flexible, responsive and pleasant to be
significantly different.
Conclusion
To test the difference between principals rational decision one way ANOVA test is
used. The results of ANOVA at a significance level of 0.000, which is smaller than the critical
value 0.05, one can conclude that the null hypothesis is rejected and the research hypothesis is
confirmed. Flexible and pleasant to be significantly different. This results is consistent with
Jung's theory, Khedive (2009), Rutter (1972) and the results of Bagherzadeh (2008), Gholipour
(2011), Hersey and Blanchard (1389), Ghafourian (2008) and the results of Alkahtny and
colleagues (2011) is. The total amount of agreeableness and according to the teachers, in fact,
they provided more context for top performance. Responsible thoughtful people, all their
activities related to rational conclusions and the evidence are accurate and objective. Mental
and behavioral establish trust facilities. Gholipour (2011) believes that very effective, the
characters are identified for each job and the conflict between personality characteristics and
