Dear Parents/ Guardians
On Thursday 8th June 2017 the Early Years building will be used as a Polling Station. To ensure that
we follow appropriate safeguarding measures we cannot have children on the site while the
Polling Station is in use. In previous years we have had to close the EYFS Site to children for this
day, but in recent years we have made arrangements so that the Nursery and Reception children
can still have a day of learning between the normal school hours of 9:00-3:15.
The Nursery and Reception teams have arranged activities to take place in the main school so we
do not have to remain on the EYFS site.
The 3 Reception classes will have a base on the main school site for drop off and pick up times.
This will be the Year Six classrooms. Please use the Key Stage Two gate and make your way up to
the year six buildings in the morning. Reception staff will meet you outside the classrooms at
9:00am to collect the children so they know where they are going. At 3:15 please collect your child
from the same place. The staff have planned a really nice day of learning including some cooking
using the school pop up kitchen. We are all looking forward to it.
