Accept Offer via the Amtrak Careers Site Target Audience: External Candidates This job aid explains how to accept a job offer via the Amtrak Careers site. Perform this activity once you have received an offer via email. Step Action Image 1. From the Amtrak email you received, select the Careers Site link. The Careers Opportunities screen opens. Click Sign In to login to the site. 2. 3. The Career Opportunities Sign In screen opens. Enter your email address and password and then click Sign In. The Amtrak Careers home screen opens. Select the Job Management link. 4. The Job Management screen opens. Click the Select dropdown arrow next to the position that you have been offered. A menu displays. 1 5. Step 6. Action Image Select View/Edit Application and Add Attachments. The Career Opportunities screen opens. 7. Click the Do you accept this offer? dropdown arrow. A menu appears. Select Yes to accept. 8. 9. Enter your Full Legal Name, Social Security Number, and Date of Birth in each required field. Click Update. 10. The application sent screen opens and displays a confirmation message stating that your application has been updated. You have successfully completed accepting a job offer from the Amtrak External Careers site. 2
