Move Out - Willow Kangaroo Point

MOVE IN/ MOVE OUT PROCEDURES
The following rules and procedures apply when moving in or moving out of an apartment, or when
moving an oversize object in or out of the building. This applies to owners, tenants and property
managers.

All Residents must inform the Caretaker Managers when moving in or moving out of building,
giving at least 48 hours notice where possible.

Lift blankets will be placed in lifts prior to all scheduled moves. Please do not move any furniture
in or out without the lift blankets in place.

All removalist trucks must park either on Duke or Princes Streets, or in the driveway (hard
against the boundary).

No removalist trucks to go past the 8 tonne sign on driveway.

Please do not park any vehicles on the footpath, grass or across driveway obstructing building
access.

The front doors to the building are not to be chocked open.

The garage door is not to be kept open and the garage door beam is not to be obstructed.

The lift, foyers, all floor corridors and walls must be left in a clean and tidy condition after moves
are complete. The resident will be held responsible for the cleanliness of common areas,
damage to lift walls, corridor walls, doors, etc. An inspection will be completed at the conclusion
of the move and costs charged to the resident for any repairs or additional cleaning that may be
required.

Care must be taken to ensure that any Fire safety equipment is not struck or damaged by any
object whatsoever.

Resident must ensure that all cartons and packing crates are disposed of correctly. Dumping of
cartons, crates or unwanted furnishing is strictly prohibited on or in any part of the building or
common property, including the Bin Room.

For all electricity connections, Energex have key access to the building and the Electrical rooms
on each floor. Depending on whether the electricity has been disconnected or not at the time of
your move in you may need to be present when Energex come to do the connection.

For all telecommunication connections, all technicians have access to the MDF box at the front
of the building. They will also need access to the Comms room on your floor. Once you have
made the appointment for your connection please contact the Caretaker Managers a couple of
days prior to let them know so that the Comms room can be unlocked.
