Behavior
1. Mask must be worn AT ALL TIMES upon entering the locker room and playing field. Mask may not be removed for
ANY reason when in these zones. There are no exceptions. Failure to comply with any of this will result in immediate
removal from game play, and may lead to permanent removal from the playing field.
2. No touching, hitting other players. No cussing, trash talking toward other players or “calling” players out on the
field, staging area, or break area. If a problem arises with another player, seek out a ref immediately. NO
EXCEPTIONS. Any physical fighting on BattleCat property will be turned over to the Anderson City Police
Department. Failure to comply with any of this will result in immediate removal from game play, and may lead to
permanent removal from the arena.
3. No touching other players Equipment. Use only your locker, locker numbers are assigned to you. ALL GEAR AND
PERSONAL ITEMS MUST BE KEPT IN LOCKER. THEFT WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. Failure to comply
with any of this will result in immediate removal from game play, and permanent removal from the Arena.
4. Refs Decisions are FINAL. DO NOT ARGUE WITH OR DISPRESPECT THE REFS. Failure to comply with any
of this will result in immediate removal from game play, and may lead to permanent removal from the arena.
5. DO NOT SHOOT THE REFS. The refs are marked in bright orange vest. Refs are treated like Civilians in video
games. If you shoot a ref you are penalized for that game.
Safety
1. Mask must be full face covering ears, eyes and the full face (NO GOGGLES OR SEPARATE PIECES). NO MESH
covered eye pieces or mouth guards. NO GAS MASK of any type. No mask that allow a bb to pass through the mouth
guard area. BattleCat reserves the right to refuse use of mask if deemed unsafe. No Exceptions.
2. When you are in neutral zones such as the BattleCat Shop, parking lot, lounge area, and staging area you must have
all magazines removed from the guns, the guns must be on safe, and the battery must be disconnected OR a barrel
blocking device must be in place. BattleCat recommends carrying your weapons in gun bags this covers cosmetic
damages and safety. There are no exceptions.
3. The Maximum FPS on the field is 330. All personal rifles must be chronographed before playing. Any modifications
made to your gun after being chronographed found to increase your FPS is unacceptable and will result in removal.
4. No unauthorized weapon of any kind. This includes real knifes, guns or live ammo. NO EXCEPTIONS.
5. Closed Toed Shoes are mandatory, no flip flops, sandals or crocs are permitted on the field. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Operation
1. You will receive a rental gun and mask AFTER the safety briefing. Upon receiving your weapon, place it in the
locker you were assigned according to your locker number you received.
2. A ref will go over the operation of your weapon before you use it. Should your weapon jam on the field or have any
other problems, immediately raise your hands as if you were hit and seek out a ref. If you can not immediately find a
ref, place your weapon in your locker and talk to the ref at the desk.
3. Do not come behind the referee desk without permission. Do not sit on ref desk. Failure to comply with any of this
will result in immediate removal from game play, and may lead to permanent removal from the playing field.
4. DO NOT BRING YOUR WEAPON OUT OF THE LOCKER ROOM UNTIL YOU ARE DONE FOR THE DAY.
This means AEG’s, pistols, shotguns, and grenades. If you need to reload, remove your magazines and bring them to
the desk.Players using grenades must reload them in the locker room. Failure to comply with any of this will result in
immediate removal from game play.
5. DO NOT PICK UP BB”S OFF THE FLOOR AND LOAD THEM INTO ANY BATTLECAT WEAPONS. All
Rental Guns MUST run BattleCat provided bb’s Failure to comply with any of this will result in immediate removal
from game play, and may lead to permanent removal from the playing field.
6. When you are done playing for the day, you must RETURN ALL RENTAL EQUIPMENT to the ref desk.
A) Take magazine out of the weapon, Fire the weapon down the fire range to remove any remaining ammo.
B) Place the weapon on safe and return all rented gear to the ref desk.
GAME PLAY
1. Start points are yellow boxes against the back walls of the arena. ALL PLAYERS must start in their teams
designated start point. Some games will have alternate start points. Failure to comply with any of this will result in
immediate removal from game play.
2. No shooting before the game starts. If you need to test fire the weapon use the test alley in the locker room. NO
EXCEPTIONS Failure to comply with any of this will result in immediate removal from game play.
3. No Blind Firing. This is when a person fires a weapon from behind an object and does not reveal them self. This
includes under, over and around all objects and corners. You must be looking at where and what you are shooting. No
exceptions. Failure to comply with any of this will result in immediate removal from game play.
4. No Fully automatic in the arena. Failure to comply with any of this will result in immediate removal from game play,
and may lead to permanent removal from the playing field.
5. Safety Kills should be used when approaching a player from the back. Tap the enemy player on the shoulder and say
“safety kill” A player will surrender by placing his weapon and hands in the air. There are NO safety kills from the
front. Failure to comply with any of this will result in immediate removal from game play
6. Do not move furniture on the field. This means no pushing, rolling or picking up objects on the field. No climbing
through windows. Do not climb in, through, on or under vehicles on the field. Do not climb up the stairs. Keep both
your feet on the ground during game play. Failure to comply with any of this will result in immediate removal from
game play.
7. Enemy fire, friendly fire and ricochets all KILL. If you are hit on any part of your body (head, torso, legs, feet
arms, hand etc...) is considered a kill and you must call yourself out. Failure to comply with any of this will result in
immediate removal from game play, and may lead to permanent removal from the playing field.
8. Once you are hit place your weapon in the air, verbally declare (hit, kill, or out) Keeping your weapon in the air
move quickly out of the arena OR to your Respawn point (see #9 Respawns) if playing a game with Respawns. No
helping teammates on enemy position while exiting or respawning. DO NOT shoot a player after they are out. Failure
to comply with any of this will result in immediate removal from game play.
9. Respawns are used at BattleCat Sports. To respawn you will return to the point of respawning designated at the start
of the game, once you reach this point you will get your life back and return to game play. The ref will designate a
Respawn point for each team before each game.
10. Cheating is not accepted at BattleCat Sports and will carry a minimum penalty of 6 games. Repeat Offenders will
be banned permanently. Failure to comply with any of this will result in immediate removal from game play, and may
lead to permanent removal from the playing field.
By signing below you are stating that you have read ALL the above rules, and that you agree to abide by ALL the rules
and regulations while playing here at BattleCat. Any safety violations or cheating will not be tolerated at BattleCat
Sports. There are no exceptions. Failure to comply with any of the above rules will be dealt with accordingly. This will
result in removal from game play and may lead permanent removal from the playing field. All Rules are subject to
change without notice, this require you to review the rules EVERYTIME you come out to play.
