Because the switching out of Pokémon is permitted, each battle has a set time limit of 20
minutes.
Therefore, the battle can end in one of two ways:
1) Tie – All players still have a total of 6 Pokémon in their party with at least 1 HP
2) Defeat/Victory – All of a players Pokémon are defeated OR one player has less than 3
Pokémon with at least 1 HP.
If there is a tie, then the players will battle again. If there is a second tie, another form of tie
breaker will take place.
Failure to adhere to these rules will result in a swift and
permanent disqualification.
