Scholarship
To provide a scholarship for an LHU student athlete
participating in baseball. The selection will be made by
the baseball coaching staff in consultation with the AD.
To provide a scholarship for an incoming student-athlete
or current member of the LHU baseball program that
has outstanding leadership characteristics on and off the
baseball field. The leadership qualities must be vital to
the core of the team, nominated at the discretion of the
baseball coaching staff. Minimum GPA of 2.5 required.
The selection will be made by the athletic director in
consultation with the baseball coaching staff.
To provide a scholarship for a Lock Haven University
student athlete participating in baseball. Student must be
on the varsity team. Selection will be made by the
Athletic Director.
For a full-time sophomore or junior on the LHU
Baseball team who has completed 32 credits, has at least
one remaining semester and has a minimum GPA of
3.25. Must demonstrate community involvement.
Recipient must send a letter of thanks to Glenn Barrie
Jr. outlining his achievements in baseball and the
campus community.
To provide a scholarship for a sophomore or junior,
participating on the LHU baseball team with financial
need and excellent academic performance. Student must
have completed 32 credits and have a GPA of 3.2 or
above. Financial need must have an EFC between 010,000. Participation in community involvement with a
brief paragraph if service submitted with application of
scholarship. Must be a graduate of a PA high school.
The selection will be made by the Athletic Director in
consultation with the Head Baseball Coach and the Rote
Family.

Pennsylvania
To provide a scholarship for an LHU student athlete
participating in cross country. Student athlete must be
on the varsity men's cross country team. Preference
given to a student from Maryland. Preference given to a
Communication Studies major.
To provide a scholarship for a member of the LHU
Track & Field and/or Cross Country team. Student must
be a member of the LHU Track & Field and/or Cross
Country team. The selection will be made by the

For a female LHU student athlete from Spring Ford
High School, playing either field hockey or lacrosse. If
no Spring Ford High School graduates, shall be given to
an athlete playing field hockey or lacrosse. Minimum
GPA of 2.0 and contributing significantly to the LHU
athletic program. (Split between field hockey and
lacrosse)
For a female Physical Education, Recreation
management, or sport administration major who plays
field hockey, women's basketball or lacrosse.
For an outstanding student athlete who plays the
goalkeeper position in field hockey and demonstrates
potential to make a significant contribution to the

To provide a scholarship for a Lock Haven University
student athlete participating in lacrosse. Must be on the
varsity team, preference given to a student from NJ,
preference given to a Recreation major. Selection to be

To provide scholarships for LHU students participating
on the LHU Football team, maintaining a C+ average
and demonstrating leadership and moral character.

For a captain or two co-captains of the LHU Football

For a student-athlete on the LHU football team, with a
minimum GPA of 2.0, embodying the characteristics of
