Gibson Ranch Park Agreement

Park is open from Sunrise to Sunset. Any rentals scheduled for hours other than normal
operating hours are subject to an additional fee per hour. ________
In the event of rain or other force majeure, reservations may be postponed to a later date at no
additional cost, subject to availability. Postponements need to be made prior to the start time on
the day of the event or rent will be forfeited. Cancellations unrelated to rain need to be made 48
hours in advance of reservation date in order to receive rent refund. __________
50% NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT NEEDED TO RESERVE SITE. _________
Customer shall defend, indemnify and hold harmless The County of Sacramento and GRP
2011,LLC, its officers, agents, employees, and volunteers from and against any and all
demands,claims, actions, losses, liabilities, damages, and costs, including reasonable attorney’s
fees, arising out of or resulting from the use of the premises, except and in proportion to the
extent caused by the negligence of GRP 2011 LLC, its officers, agents, employees, or
volunteer. _________
GRP 2011, LLC and the County of Sacramento, its officers, agents, employees, and volunteers
shall not be responsible for any theft or damages to vehicles parked during the event. _______
The park will not be closed solely for your events use. Make sure that all participants are aware
that other people will be using the park the same day as your event. Your activity cannot
negatively impact other users of Gibson Ranch Park. Special Events must not negatively impact
the park’s cultural and natural resources. No person shall injure or destroy any cultural or
natural resource. ________
No vehicles are allowed on lawns or closed areas under any circumstances. Please stay out of
designated sensitive habitat areas. ________
All debris associated with this activity is to be placed by you in proper receptacles. You will be
charged if GRP 2011, LLC staff is required to clean the area of your activity. Glass bottles and
glass containers are prohibited in Gibson Ranch Park. __________
The selling or offering for sale of any goods, services, liquids, or edibles for human consumption
is prohibited without the prior written approval by GRP 2011, LLC. In addition, all state and local
regulations must be met before such sales are allowed. ___________
Music and Public Address systems can be used during special events with a valid amplified
sound permit. GRP 2011, LLC does not provide electricity for music or public address systems.
Amplified Sound Permits may be obtained from GRP 2011, LLC at time of event booking. Due
to the noise ordinance between the County and Sacramento and Gibson Ranch all amplified
sound must be off by 10pm. When renting the Ranch House amplified sound will be off and
doors locked by 12am. _________
Bounce houses, excluding water bounce houses, may be used during special events with a
valid permit. GRP 2011, LLC does not provide electricity for bounce houses. Bounce house
permits may be obtained from GRP 2011, LLC at time of event booking. GRP 2011, LLC
reserves the right to revoke or cancel any permit or reservation issued at any time at GRP 2011,
LLC discretion. ___________
Ranch House rules and regulations:
The selling or offering for sale of any goods, services, liquids, or edibles for human consumption
is prohibited without the prior written approval by GRP 2011, LLC. In addition, all state and local
regulations must be met before such sales are allowed. ___________
Cleaning deposit refund:
Ranch House closes as sunset all areas of the Ranch House must be cleaned prior to the hour
of sunset unless otherwise arranged in writing. All debris associated with this activity is to be
placed by you in proper receptacles. You will be charged if GRP 2011, LLC staff is required to
clean the area of your activity. Glass bottles and glass containers are prohibited in Gibson
Ranch Park. When renting the Ranch House all trash must be pulled and tied and placed by
the back patio door. Floors must be swept of all debris and mopped of all spills. Ranch House
kitchen: all sinks cleaned and spot clean walls. Refrigerator, microwave and food warmer
removed of all food and cleaned inside and out. Floors swept and spot cleaned of all spills.
Ranch House restrooms; all toilets and urinals flushed, floors swept and mopped of spills, spot
clean walls. All decorations must be removed. _________
Duct tape, stick pins, tacks, nails, etc are not allowed as tools for securing decorations. ______
The Ranch House closes at sunset. After hour fees of $22 per hours will apply to any rental
past the hour of sunset; arrangements must be made prior to event date. ________
All amplified sound must be turned off and doors locked 12 midnight. ________
