I am so excited to meet you and I can’t wait to be your
teacher this year! In our class, we will learn and grow as a
classroom community! So, get ready for a year of working
hard, learning a lot, and having way too much fun!

Supplies for Mrs. Hatch’s
3rd Grade Class
Each child should plan to bring the
following supplies to Open House.
Please label these items with your
child’s name
 1” binder with clear view front
 1 box of crayons or colored pencils
 1 box of markers (thick or thin)
 1 pair of scissors
 1 black sharpie
 4 thin black Expo markers
 1 ruler with in and cm
 1 pencil pouch
 3 highlighters (different colors)
 2 spiral notebooks (1 green 1 any
color/style)
 2 composition books
 5 plastic folders with prongs
(red, blue, green, yellow and your choice)
 Small, handheld pencil sharpener
 Headphones
(can reuse from last year)
Supplies to share
(no need to label)
 4 glue sticks
 1 bottle of Elmer’s glue
 1 package of page protectors
(heavy duty preferred)
 1 ream of white copy paper
 2 packs of pencil cap erasers
 2 boxes of pencils (pre-sharpened
preferred)
If last name begins with A-L add:
 1 ream of colored copy paper
 2 rolls of paper towels
If last name begins with M-Z add:
 1 box of Ziplock baggies
(sandwich or gallon size)
 2 boxes of Kleenex
 Sharpies
(multi color packs or black)
 Flair Pens
 White and colored card stock
 Ziplock baggies in various sizes
 Electric pencil sharpener
 Sticky Notes
Expo Markers (thick and thin)
 Pencils
(we can never have enough)
 Gift cards to Walmart, Target,
Staples, etc.
