Equipment used in soccer
• Many of the things used in soccer either
for protection or to play are made of
polymers
• For example, the shin guards and the
soccer ball, both made of somewhat
plastic
What the equipment if for
• Both things are necessary to play the
game of soccer.
• Shin guards are important because that’s
the area in the body most likely to get
injured.
• And the soccer ball which is needed to
score points
History of soccer

serious so they needed to be made of a
material that was light weight enough to
run around with.
The field
• The field house here in Niles is made of
some rubber im guessing so that if
someone was to fall they wouldn’t hurt
themselves and other fields are made of
similar material, like recycled rubber.
