a brief note on digital culture
the brief was to set up a technology space
● educate the population especially people on the
wrong side of the digital divide (ostensibly oldies
and indigenous people)
● promote the NBN and the use of broadband
community engagement
we decided to take bits of the program and offer it to groups that wouldn’t
traditionally use libraries. it’s a wide cohort offering something for everyone
and we’ve worked hard not be about how to turn ipads on for oldies

not always easy and especially with young
audiences

they easily return to passive consumption
