MEN’S OPEN LEAGUE (TIERED) – Sunday afternoon/evenings
MEN’S OVER 30 – Weekdays (Tues – Thurs)
WOMEN’S OPEN LEAGUE – Monday evenings (exclusive of Sunday league)
*All formats above are targeted for 2015 and will be confirmed once minimum number of
teams is reached

Our goal is to expand the current format to include new Adult teams from around the
city. Multiple leagues with grouping like leveled teams will be implemented giving
every team the opportunity to compete on an equal playing field, this is our goal. We
will provide you ALL with an opportunity to compete for playoff spots and
championships year in and year out. Monetary prizes will be allotted to ALL level
League playoff winners and finalist.

In addition to this, the league will continue to implement a cross league domestic cup
tournament called the “Champions League” (MEN ONLY). All teams in every league
class will be entered into a draw, teams will be randomly drawn and a bracket will be
implemented. Teams will play at minimum of one additional Cup game to be held on a
designated week night, winners will advance and losers will be knocked out. The
League cup will progress throughout the summer with “Champions League” finals to
be held at a given chosen date. This is over and above the League playoffs and finals.
There will be a monetary prize for the Winners and Finalist of the “Champions League”
Cup.

There are plans to possibly hold an “Adult OPEN” Outdoor money tournament during
the July long weekend this summer. This is over and above the League schedule and
will be open to all Adult League teams regardless if which league they currently play in
and for which club. Separate entry fees will apply of course.
NEW FOR 2015 - UNIFORMS
The league has secured a limited number of Replicate Champions League uniforms for use in
the Men’s Open league. In order to take advantage of the limited number of the Uniforms and
to secure the team you want, the league will offer on a first come first served basis, and while
the stock is available, the opportunity to register your team on/or before March 16, 2015 by
leaving a $500.00 deposit.
REGISTRATION
Deadline: April 20th, 2015
Individuals and teams can apply at any time up to April 20th; in addition the Dixie SC will be
holding 2 MASS REGISTRATIONS on the following dates:
(1) Saturday March 21st
(2) Saturday March 28th
 Up to 22 players on a roster are allowed; up to 20 players can dress for any given game
 “Champions League” Cup games will be played on a chosen weeknight
 Registration will take place at the Dixie Soccer Club at the following address:

Time: 7:30pm
All teams must be represented at all meetings called by the Senior Director. Failure to comply
will result in disciplinary actions, ie: $35.00 fine to the team. Each team will forward three
names and phone numbers of persons that will represent their team. Launch meeting will start
on time. No excuses will be accepted.

Registration is as follows: Teams can register 1 of 2 ways;
1. In the Men’s Open League
A team representative can register and pay; 1- by cheque, credit card or debit in a
lump sum of $4,500 for the entire team (up to 18 players, the 19th & 20th player will
pay $250 each as 20 players can dress for any given game, players making up the 21st
and 22nd roster spots will pay $100 each) at one time OR 2 - accumulates individual
registration fee’s cheque’s for entire team totaling $4,500 to be submitted at one
time, plus any additional fees for roster spots exceeding 18 (see above).
Individuals from a particular team may register ‘one by one’ whereby;
A. Players registering for a particular team via ‘one by one’, will pay $250 per
registration
B. Teams with players registering ‘one by one’ that fall short of the team rate
of $4,500 (i.e. 16 players registered x $250 per = $4,000. $500 short of
team fee) will have to pay the difference in the team fee, plus provide a
cheque for the team bond before being accepted into the Adult League.
2. In the Men’s Over 30 league:
Individuals from a team can register “one by one” whereby;
A. Players’ registration will be $200.00 per player.

In the Women’s Open league:
Individuals from a team can register “one by one” whereby;
A. Players’ registration will be $220.00 per player.
NEW NON-RESIDENT FEE: CITY OF MISSISSAUGA
The City of Mississauga has introduced a non-resident fee of $20. per player, that is over and
above the league fee. This is a non-resident fee collected by the Dixie Soccer Club and paid
directly to the City of Mississauga. This fee is not exclusive to soccer community clubs but
affects all recreational clubs operating in the City of Mississauga.
PROTECTED PLAYER LIST
For teams registering ‘one by one’, the team captain or representative must forward a
‘protected list’ of players to the DSC Senior’s Director.
These ‘protected players’ must advise the league office upon arrival of their team name and
team representative at the time of registration. If they do not, they could be placed on other
teams.
NOTE: The deadline for registration is April 18th, after this date all ‘protected players list’ will
become null and void and the DSC will begin to fill teams as they feel fit to complete roster
requirements. Any outstanding amounts will be charged and payment required prior to the
start of the season.
IMPORTANT INFO
 Individuals not on any particular team will register as an independent player at the
cost of $250 each.
 Payments accepted: Visa, M/C, Debit, Cash and Cheques (Cheques to be made out to:
Dixie Soccer Club.
 Each team captain or representative must provide a cheque dated Aug 31st, 2015
(made payable to the Dixie Soccer Club) in the amount of $300 as the TEAM BOND at
the time of registration. A deduction of $100 from the team bond will take effect for
every non-communicated game no show as well; the team bond will be used to settle
delinquent fines incurred by players on any given team during the season for red
cards, yellow card accumulations and player suspensions.
 The Team Bond must be submitted to the Dixie Soccer Club prior to the first game of
the season, failing to do so will result in the team not being eligible to play until the
team bond has been collected.
 TEAM BOND CHEQUE WILL NOT BE CASHED UNLESS THE ABOVE MENTIONS
